Service Description
¥35,000 Deposit will be required at booking time. You will receive an invoice for the whole amount of the tour which must be paid no later than one week before your tour date. Pricing is listed on the tour page. Please read all Important Information before submitting. The following is an example of what our day tour of Kyoto will include: ~ Any big shrine or temple (customer's favorite place) It'll be much less crowded since it will be the first thing we do in the morning. ~ Visit two secret temples, these won't be disclosed until we go there. Takashi will pick the best ones to go for the day. ~ Experience a tea ceremony and sample Matcha Tea at a serene beautiful setting. ~ A great lunch spot (the guide knows sushi, ramen restaurants, and others. These are ones only locals go to experience is everything. Kyoto is known for a great variety of ramen, the perfect destination for ramen enthusiasts. (I recently have gotten hooked on Mackerel Broth Ramen, let's give it a try if you want something most tourists will never find) ~ One cultural experience, such as sake-tasting, great wooden artworks from the 7-9th century, rickshaw rides, and others.
Cancellation Policy
IMPORTANT INFORMATION There is a non-refundable deposit of ¥35,000 at the time of booking. The deposit will count toward your total amount of the tour. The remaining amount will be invoiced to the email used to book the travel and must be paid by credit card no later than one week before your tour date. If not paid, your deposit will be forfeited and your tour date will be offered to another group. If you need to cancel, please contact us so that we can provide the services for another group. Once cancelled, you must pay another deposit for a new reservation. Our van is not equipped to accommodate wheelchairs. We can accommodate children's car seats but you must bring your own car seat for your children. Children 6 and under should have a booster or car seat. You can find companies in Japan that rent and sell car seats, cribs, and strollers. Because our company is based in Kyoto, all customers taking one of our Kyoto tours should be staying in Kyoto. This will allow us to visit a full itinerary. If tours are requested outside of Kyoto for Nara or Osaka, you can stay in Kyoto the night before the tour and we can drop you and your luggage at a hotel in the city that you tour for that day. If you have questions about your accommodations and the tour you wish to take, please include them on the booking form or reach out from our contact page before booking. Our tours are private and you will not be combined with another group. These tours take a lot of planning and logistics, please plan ahead and schedule ahead to get the best experience. The Spring time tours between March 15th and April 15th have a premium price due to popularity, but also have the option to start at multiple times which can help to avoid the crowds in the morning and can extend your total tour time to 9 hours. Start times are 7:30am, 8:00am, 8:30am, or 9:00am and total tour time depends on how early we leave. Our tours end by 4:30pm since most attractions also close around 4:00pm. Pricing for all times of the year are listed on the tour page of our site. April 16th - March 14th is the regular season. Start times will be at 9:00am or 9:30am and ending 7 hours later. Tours will be 7 hours long. All fees and costs for temples, shrines, activities, and food are paid by clients. Groups can not exceed 9 people per day.
